I have deemed 2021 to be my #YearofMinorityBooks. My goal is to read a large variety of books written by minority authors to diversify my reading experience and knowledge. I’m considering “minority” in all categories (race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, ability, etc.). This list does not include all the books I’ve read in 2021 like my previous lists (2020, 2019, 2018). Instead, it only includes books I’ve intentionally chosen as minority reads.
